MALAKOFF

Welcome back to the start of another busy and exciting year at Malakoff Elementary!  We hope that you have had a safe and enjoyable summer and look forward to seeing you during the school year.  We also want to extend a warm welcome to our incoming kindergarten families as well as the students that are new to our school. 

As we get ready for this important school year I would like to invite all of you to join our wonderful organization. We are a group of parents and teachers concerned with our children’s education and are willing to do what we can to help make our school better and better each year.  Working together we can make a difference at MES!  We are proud to have an active PTO comprised of parent volunteers and teachers working together to make a positive difference in the lives of our children.

Our PTO meets approximately every other month to discuss events, plan fundraisers, and share ideas.  We offer a family membership to our PTO.  An annual contribution of $ 5.00 must be made to join the PTO.  The PTO sponsored events provide financial support to school programs, events, activities, and important projects that would otherwise not be funded.  We hope you will become a member of the MES PTO and take advantage of the many opportunities to become involved in your son or daughter’s school experiences.  You DO NOT have to be an active participant to be a member of our PTO.

There are many ways and opportunities to volunteer, even one or two hours of your time can make a huge difference and will be a great help to our school. 

  We welcome everyone’s input.  Let’s enjoy a wonderful school year together filled with special moments from our children’s lives.  It is those moments that are the most important!
