**This year students will NOT be allowed to go on any school field trips (This does not apply to Six Flags (see below) if they have:  more than two unexcused absences for the first semester and three unexcused absences for the second semester.

**5^th grade has a chance to EARN a Six Flags trip.  It is earned as a group on STAAR performance.  If you would like to go on this trip (or any other trip) (IF WE EARN IT- the trip will be in May), you must have a background check ran by January 31- NO EXCEPTIONS.  You can still come on the trip without doing a background check, but you will NOT BE ALLOWED WITH THE GROUP.  You can get your child and leave the group to have fun in the park.   We encourage you to spend time in the park alone with your child.  It is a great way to slow down and have quality fun time with your child.  You will both enjoy the time together.  Attached is the background check form.  REMEMBER, we must have it in our hands by JANUARY 31, no exceptions.
